Dear Carolina – a novel
My dear friend and NEW AUTHOR Kristy Woodson Harvey’s first book, Dear Carolina, was published and debuted in bookstores all over the US in May and I had the privilege of covering her book release party at our very own Buy Local Gallery.
The venue was very fitting as Kristy’s book is set in Kinston and details of life here are laced throughout the pages.
I am just about finished with the book and HIGHLY recommend it! It is a perfect summer beach read, but you may want to make sure you have sunglasses with you to cover puffy tear-filled eyes as you read.
I am so incredibly proud of you, Kristy! This is a beautiful work of literature. You are a tremendously talented writer. You developed the characters so well and I am in love with them. I can’t wait to ready your next novel!
