Alleys and brick walls may be one of the most overused locations for senior portraits, but my clients continue to request them, and I still love them for several reasons.
Layla is such a sweet soul! I’ve had the privilege of working with her family over several years along with watching her dance at my daughter’s dance studio, so I’ve seen her grow up!
Love this girl so much! She asked to include downtown Kinston and she also wanted to get out in nature. Chandler came to my house with her mom, Susan, and 3 dogs loaded up in her car.
“Mattie, can you balance on this pillar and stick your feet up in the air?” Sure, she says! Lol! From her studded leather boots to her leopard body suit, Mattie was ready to make this session her own. We started at the docks where she grew up playing at the country club, made sure to […]
Miller has her own pose. I’m not sure when it started, but at her senior shoot, her mom told her, “do your pose…” and every shoot I did with Miller after that one I knew I wanted to incorporate it. I would just say, “do the Miller.” I’ll let you guess which one it is […]
As soon as Skylar said she wanted to use her grandpa’s “classic car,” I could not WAIT for her senior portrait session! Then, I saw the color. Jaw drop. With her red dress, these portraits are simply stunning. We had fun with posing and pretending to drive. But it doesn’t stop there, Skylar also wanted […]
India is such a happy person. I just can’t help but smile when I see her. She cares deeply for others and is a loyal friend. When she faces adversity, she has a joyful attitude that lifts up those around her. It was no wonder that her senior session was so full of giggling that […]
Elise is one of those people that has a calming effect when she enters a room. Her quiet nature and sweet smile are sure to make anyone feel at ease. I am positive those characteristics will serve her and others well as she makes her way in the world. Her laid-back attitude also made her […]
Two of my favorite things in life are flowers and ice cream. Faith and I have that in common! We started her senior portrait session on the farm in a field. There were bunches of yellow flowers and I love to give my girls a little bouquet to hold for few shots. And if you […]
One thing Meredith wanted to incorporate into her senior portraits was her family’s history in peanut farming. We went out into the field all dressed up and had some fun. I love how the rows of crops give the images depth. I also didn’t know until I moved to North Carolina that peanut plants are […]
