So the summer is over?! What?! I have a confession, I wrote this on August 12 and put the post date as August 1. I started August at the beach for a family vacay with my parents and by the time we got home and unpacked, life was way ahead of me! Hence, the goal of consistent blogging is on my list for next month.
Some amazing things happened in July! $30,000 was raised for an emergency need for Toloha in 3 days! Read about it here and here! We met our new niece Raleigh! Read about that here. We spent half the month in the mid-west visiting family and the rest catching up! The kids and I picked 11 pounds of blueberries and hope to go again before the season is over!
Now, August means back-to-school for us! This year, I will be homeschooling Kenna (she is going into kindergarten) and Dec (he will be in pre-school). We are super excited to join our local chapter of Classical Conversations!
Since half the month is gone, my goals are on the lighter side for this month. Here goes!
1. Hire a caterer for the Toloha Partnership Banquet!
2. Lesson Plan for our home school using this amazing planner!
3. Pick 10 more pounds of blueberries to freeze!
4. Read The Giver and go see the movie!
5. Start school!
