Nicole ∙ Simply Told Photography ∙ Professional Photographer Portraits
While I was at home last month, I had the chance to spend some time with my college roomie, who is also a professional photographer in the Akron-Canton area of Ohio (where we all went to Malone University). Nicole and I have been second shooting for each other for over two years whenever we get the chance. It is an understatement to say that “we wish we lived closer.”
During this shoot, we spent three hours taking new “headshots” of each other in a field somewhere and we could have kept going. It was just so much fun experimenting with lights and props. Spinning, jumping and dancing. We were really trying to bring out one another’s personalities, which is much easier when you’ve lived with someone for 2.5 years.
Which photo of Nicole is your favorite? For those who know her, which one do you think portrays her the best? Maybe we’ll have some pull on which one she chooses to post on her website.

Nicole, thank you so much for being such a great friend. You are one of the few people I can truly and fearlessly be myself around. I miss you terribly! I can’t wait to work together again and have a good chat about the photog biz over coffee and tea this month.

Aww, Lins! Great job! It's so hard for me to be in FRONT of the camera. The fact that I actually like these shots of myself speaks volumes of your talent. It's rare that I like ONE picture of me…let alone them all. That was so much fun and I'm so thankful to have you in my life!! Move back to Ohio!!!! 🙂 Amazing work as always!!!
