Clint and Mary’s Maternity Portraits
I adore these images. My adoration has nothing to do with my skill for photography, my composition, my use of light or anything pertaining to me. I love this session because of these three people. This is my assistant Mary, her husband Clint and their little baby (coming in June!).
My hope with this session was to capture the joy and hope that they pour out everyday. I wanted to show how they are a light in the darkness. And it’s not just Mary’s glow of pregnancy. As a family, they have surrendered their lives to brightening the communities of Lenoir & Greene Counties. I have seen them come into these communities and change the way people view life. They look at each person and ask how they can bless them in some way. And there is no claim to perfection here. They are two of the most real people I have ever met.
My husband and I have found a deep friendship with them that we know will last a lifetime and longer. We are so grateful to have the privilege to do life with them in Kinston!
I could go on and on about how much I love them, but I thought maybe some others might like to chime in. Would you give some love to Clint and Mary by commenting below about some way they have poured into your lives? Or maybe type a short prayer for their little one?
Clint & Mary, thank you so much for being our friends! We love you! I hope you enjoy these portraits! For baby Rouse, I pray he or she seeks the Lord with all his or her heart, trusts the Lord with a saving faith and he or she shines like the noonday sun. Just like mommy & daddy!

Baby Rouse is going to be/already is one blessed baby to have these two as parents. I knew Clint in high school but met Mary because I am slightly addicted to chickfila. What I love about Mary is that you can tell that she looks at each individual that she comes in contact with as more than just a random individual. She truly strives to get to know you and your family and how she can be praying for you. My family has been through a lot over this past year and I always knew we would be met with such a smile as the one seen in these pictures. She truly cares about her customers and treats them as friends.
