Friendship Tips from Besties to Roomies // Kinston Senior Portraits

These two have been friends for years and they even call each other their twin. Being around Elise & India for just a few minutes, it is obvious that they adore each other and have a kinship that is good enough for Anne of Green Gables (sorry, y’all know I’m Classic Lit nerd). They are truly at ease with one another and allow each other to shine.
They were on my Style Team this year so I got to work with them together at our team shoots, including a cap and gown shoot, but also separately for their senior shoots in downtown Kinston. And guess what – they both wanted a pink tutu and pointe shoes! (You can see India’s here & Elise’s here). They are so alike!
In August, they will head to ECU together to be roomies! This will be a new adventure for them, but I know they are ready for it! They are both such gems and their friendship is so genuine, so I asked them to give me some tips to pass along about how they maintain their lasting friendship.
Friendship Tips from 2 Besties
- “We have so many similarities and are very alike but we also respect and love each other’s differences.” – Elise “Like Elise said, we are a lot alike in so many ways and it’s like the more time that passes the more things we find that we have in common, but then we also have our differences too. I think we both are respectful and appreciative of that and it allows for balance in our friendship.” – India
- “We also make time for each other and I personally love spending time with India because we always have a great time together and have fun no mater what we do.” – Elise “It doesn’t matter what we do or where we go, I know we will have fun and will end up laughing the whole time. It also doesn’t matter if there’s a boy in the picture for us. We still make time to hangout even if that means going on a double date.” – India
- “Lastly, I think we have been and are always there for each other and support one another no matter what and I feel as though we have a lot of trust because of that! ” – Elise “I would say that we are very supportive and uplifting of each other. I know Elise and I can talk to each other about anything knowing the other person is there to listen. It’s so nice knowing you have a friend that is understanding and will always be there.” – India
