Today our oldest turns 8! That means in 10 years, she’ll be a senior in high school! Ahhhhh! I think back to our lives a decade ago, we had just begun to think about kiddos, and now… wow! Craziness! And this girl astounds us! She is artistic, hilarious and LOVES marine biology. She wants to be a marine biologist artist… she came up with that, but I’m sure it is a real thing. To think, in 10 years, she will be making that decision, and I’ll spend the next decade on my knees.
Mckenna, I know you aren’t reading this now, but one day, when you do, I hope you know how proud I am of you, my sweet daughter. I love you more than you can understand and I thank God he gave me the awesome responsibility of being your mama.
