Branches and Light Workshop

At the beginning of this year, something amazing happened… Branches and Light! I was blessed enough to be in attendance. And as soon as it was over I wanted to go again. Well, the details of Branches and Light 2013 were just announced. You can see the details here! I also wrote about it here.
Nancy Ray and Caroline Joy are two amazing ladies! They are so gracious, humble and overflowing with passion for photography. I learned soooo much about the running a photography business, but even more about living life. I was inspired and enlightened. I just remember leaving with a fire lit under me and that fire never went out. Caroline and Nancy bought each attendee a teacup with our initial on it and each time I use it, I am reminded of that special time and its like a little oxygen.
An added bonus is becoming part of a community with other amazing women who love photography. It becomes an intimate little group during the workshop and relationships like that are sure to survive through Facebook, Instagram and email.
At the workshop Caroline and Nancy work with local vendors to create an amazing styled shoot. I loved seeing them in action and then shooting alongside other super talented photographers. Here are some of the portraits I took during the Valentine’s Day shoot.
