McKenzie Jo | My littlest cousin | Newborn Shoot

Meet McKenzie Jo! My cousin, Danielle (more like a sister, really) and her husband, Bo, welcomed this little miracle into their lives in June. I was so thrilled to get the chance to meet McKenzie when we visited Lexington, KY just weeks after she was born. Naturally, McKenzie wanted her portraits taken, so we did a quick newborn shoot while I was there.
The little lovely did not want to miss a second of my visit so she stayed awake during most of the session. That did not stop Danielle and I from dressing her up a bit. That’s what little girls are for, right?
McKenzie has a pet giraffe that followed her home from the hospital gift shop and he is very special to her, so I had to get a few shots of him, too.
Love this little girl, and I know she is truly cherished by her mama and daddy.
Love you guys! I miss you so much and can’t wait to see you again soon! This shoot was just so special to me.
