Since things got REALLY crazy during November and December, I wasn’t able to blog all of my sessions. Sooo… I thought it would be fun to blog them as “the 12 Sessions of Christmas” in the last few days before Christmas. The last day – Christmas day – will be our family!
Last year, I had the opportunity to do portraits of Sophie and Jenks for the Jenkin’s Family Christmas Card. This year I was delighted that Beverly and George would be joining in on the fun!
We met in downtown Kinston on a sunny, but chilly Saturday morning and found a nice spot where the plants are still green. The trees had little red berries on them bringing a little Christmas cheer to the background. And don’t you love their outfits?! Beverly did a great job coordinating!
One of my goals during the session was to get Sophie and Jenks to laugh. I’m not naturally a funny person, and they are not easily made to laugh. But once we got a little more comfortable, I got a few of those genuine smiles. I think they may even have had just a little fun 😉
George & Beverly, thank you so much for working with me again this year on your portraits and cards. It’s always a pleasure!
If you are considering a session for Christmas 2015, please note that our last session date for Christmas cards is December 5th! I get booked pretty quickly, so grab your spot early!
