Hi there! I'm Lindsay Corrigan and I create authentic and beautiful natural light portraits for families, dancers and graduating seniors in Eastern North Carolina.
Every year I like to look back at all the portraits I’ve taken and I have a few favorites that really stand out. My specialty is seniors, so this time I’m going to highlight the class of 2025.
Carolina’s sunflower session was my first class of 2025 session and we had to wade through a swampy field to find the few flowers that survived the flooding. It was well worth it!
It is always hit or miss to find flowers blooming when a session is scheduled, and it is a bonus when an outfit coordinates. The greens and yellows in this one of Ele are so vibrant and lovely and the greens in her dress go perfectly. I can’t get over the beauty! And I absolutely love the way these crepe myrtles and her pink skirt brought out Eliza’s blue eyes!
Morning light is one of my favorites (where are all my Keira Knightley Pride and Prejudice fans) and Anna Claire was willing to meet me at the farm in the morning. Look at how dreamy this is!
The smiles and hugs of twins, Anna Clare & Cate are so sweet and fun, but we also had to get a couple serious shots. The blue sky and oranges of her dress and guitar make this one of Anna Clare pop! I love a profile and always try to grab at least one during sessions. Cate’s head scarf added a little bohemian style to this shot.
This picture of Lesley is super sentimental, because when she was maybe 8 years old, I took a similar pic with the same book at the same place, so we had to recreate it for her senior portraits.
Izzy’s and Hayden’s sessions both included their whole families, but we got some individuals to celebrate senior year. I love the way Izzy’s hair is blowing and that sunset was so vibrant. Hayden is a character and going into theatre arts, so this debonair shot of him makes me smile every time. Plus a little Rembrandt lighting just makes me happy.
Finally, Braxton in his Stetson looking off into the sunset is just iconic. We got just a few shots right before golden hour with the field of yellow behind him.
If you’re a rising senior and love these, I would love to work with you for senior portraits. Sign up for my newsletter or contact me via the form below to find out more information for senior portraits!
