One of the first thing’s Payton told me when we talked about her senior shoot was that she loved photography. So of course, I told her to bring her camera to her session! I loved incorporating that part of her life into her senior portraits. We were on the farm, so we had some interesting subjects (the goats weren’t very cooperative either), but we had fun grabbing some action shots. By the time, she put on those converse & her flannel, she was super comfortable being on the other side of the camera. And I may or may not have made her do some twirls, but the tire swing – that was all Payton!
We got to have more fun at her cap and gown shoot a few weeks later – that cap toss is a lot harder than it looks. It’s like throwing a kite.
Kris & Payton, thank you so much for choosing me to capture this special year for you! I loved getting to know you! I hope you cherish these portraits for years to come. Congratulations!!!
