7th Day of Christmas – All grown up!

When we started hanging out with this bunch, I was definitely taller than four of them (not including the dogs). It has been so fun to watch the four of them grow up to become young women and men and see Tom and Gayla allow them to spread their wings in the world.
Although most woundn’t believe they are old enough to have a college graduate, Tom and Gayla are a few stages a head of us in parenting, and I have gone to Gayla with many of my parenting questions. She has taught me how important it is to guard the relationships with our children, even through the hard stages. The strong bond they now have inspires me to hold fast to that wisdom. I also have never seen a whole family be as involved and serve a community like the Vermillions. They are a light in Kinston. I am so thankful my family gets to do life with them!
