I know they say that as we grow older, the days go quicker and quicker, but seriously, what happened to June? June was beautiful! Full of fun – soaking up the sun, swimming, gardening, time-off, and there were some challenges – ear infections, an overloaded schedule, a crawling super fast 10 month-old, the terrible twos – life.
Last month, I shared all of my goals – daily, weekly, monthly, and the ones I set specifically for June. This time around, I’ll just share what I’m hoping to accomplish for July. If you want to see last month’s post, click here. A few things from last month are getting pushed to August or possibly later as I realized they don’t need to be a priority right now. As always, I overshot a bit, but I refuse to fret over time passed. Grace Not Perfection, right?! Anyway, here’s to July!
July Goals
- Meet my new niece in Tennessee!!! (She was born June 26th!!!)
- Visit the Corrigan family in Kentucky! – We leave tomorrow!
- Get 2 prints framed at Right Angle in Kinston – they are at there as I type.
- Introduce new flash drives and proof boxes! I’m pretty much in love with them.
- Do some sunflower shoots! Contact me (fill in the form to the right) if you’re interested!
- Pray, pray, pray very fervently for the 2014 Toloha Vision Team as they travel through Tanzania. Go to toloha.org for more info!
- Set in concrete,
MC, catering and venue for the 2nd Annual Toloha Partnership Banquet for Water on October 25, 2014. MC and Venue – done and done!
- Get registered for Classical Conversations. I have this ready to mail right now!
- Big one! Transfer my website to WordPress. This one’s a doozie and may roll into July. As you can see, this is a new site!!! Woohoo! This is a temporary site as I work on a whole new look for Three Eleven Photography. I still have some links to update and images to restore on my blog.
- Memorize Psalm 73:21-26 – still workin’ on this one.
- Grow something green indoors. My succulents are still living!
- Pare my wardrobe down to a capsule (read about what that is here). My closet is looking good, but I need to work on my dresser a little more. In August, I will be doing a clothes swap and garage sale – woohoo!
- Teach over 100 kids motions to 6 songs at VBS – this one has been a challenge! VBS is in two weeks, so I’m practicing, practicing!
- Finish up Jesus the King – an amazing book by Timothy Keller that I recommend to anyone and everyone who wants to know the true Jesus.
Well, there you have it! What do you plan to do in July? Share some of your goals or a link to your own goals post in the comments below. Let’s keep each other accountable.
