Mini Sessions!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be offering mini sessions once again! This time it is really special! The Date is Saturday, December 7, 2013. The cost is a donation to Toloha Partnership. Every penny given for these mini sessions goes straight to the Toloha Partnership Water Project.

As I mentioned a couple posts ago, I am on a small team of people from Kinston and Greenville, North Carolina trying to bring clean water to a village called Toloha in Tanzania. We have even started a non-profit called Toloha Partnership.

I have to step back here from the excitement that is welling up inside of me. I am so humbled at all that has happened in these past two years or so. I never thought – in a million years – I, little old me, could be a part of something that will change over 10,000 people’s lives forever. Please stop reading now, and watch this video. So anyway, on November 9, we held a banquet to help raise the funds to start the project. It was so amazing to see that God did it! $35,0000 was raised!!! And with the money we had already raised, we are so close to breaking ground!!! (Sorry for yelling.) We still need at least $8,000 to set a definite date and $130,000 to finish the project. Being this close is so exciting, and we have no doubt that we will be able to meet our goal of breaking ground in the beginning of 2014. Just typing this gives me goose bumps. These people have been waiting so long to have water. And for every bit of pipe that we replace, the people will see the flow of water get stronger and stronger.
