One of the greatest joys in parenthood is introducing your children to each other for the very first time. I absolutely love to capture newborns with their older siblings in the first few weeks of being acquainted. Little Harrison was much anticipated by his big sister, Emma Claire.
At the session, we were able to get Emma Claire to smile and give her little brother kisses by telling her that Harrison wanted her to, and if she didn’t, he might cry. It was the sweetest! She just adores this little guy. She loved snuggling up to him and giving him hugs and kisses, and he would look at her with those wondering eyes. Mmmm! Precious!
Harrison was an absolute prince to photograph. He would gaze around and then doze off for a bit. He loves to be snuggled up with daddy or mommy, but he was also fine to just lie by himself. He started to coo a little bit, which is like music to a mama’s soul. I love those sounds. I just wanted to bundle him up and hold him the whole time. I mean look at the guy – you just want to kiss him all over.
Ray and Stephanie, thank you so much for inviting my camera and me into your home again to capture life. I just love your sessions because they are real. Emma Claire and Harrison did excellently! I love watching them grow! Congratulations!
