This is my friend, Katie and her family. We’ve been planning this session since, I hate to say it, last Spring! Katie won a family session I donated at a church auction and she wanted to give it to her mom for Christmas. I only knew Katie before the session, and I just love her dearly so I was so excited to meet the rest of her family.
In the short time that I was with them, I saw just where Katie’s kindness and joy comes from. Katie and her brother Paul are definitely a source of pride to their parents. Her mom, Jane, was much more interested in getting some shots of Katie and Paul, but we got a few with Jane and her dad, Larry, too.
It was so much fun doing one last Family Portrait Session in 2012 with them. We had a beautiful day with some amazing light. We had a little bit of fun – meaning: I made them all laugh at me. I just love those.
