Let me tell you a little story about this beautiful girl. I’ve known Whitlee for a long time… and yet somehow… I still thought she was a senior last year! Basically what had happened wuz… she hung out with a bunch of girls from the class of 2018. Needless to say, I was a little hurt when she didn’t apply for my team… and all of them did. I was like, “who is she working with!!!” Then, when the applications for the class of 2019 Style Team started rolling in last March, I saw her application! I literally said out loud, “OHHHHH!” And I have gotten to hang out with this jewel since last March!

One thing about her that shines through is her loyalty to her friends. I’ve loved watching her overcome the sadness of losing her besties to college last year and pouring in to the friends she still had around her. Whitlee often bridges the gap between people. She is welcoming to others, because she knows what it is like to be welcomed.  Her killer smile and her stunning blue eyes only help those around her feel loved and encouraged. She has been such a stellar member of my 2019 team and now she’s ready to join her Wolfpack! #ncstateclassof2023
