It's not about
In the age of selfies, kids' self-esteem seems to be getting lower.
The pressure from social media and constantly having a camera in front of them makes pictures more and more meaningless, and kids feel like they need to be fake in front of a camera because their pictures need to be Instagram-worthy to share and be of any value.
That is why I focus primarily on portraits of high school seniors and middle schoolers. This is the age to boost their confidence by helping them be themselves in front of a camera and knowing they are valued.
My goal is to give parents a way to celebrate their kids with a memorable portrait experience.
