Mattie // Class of 2020 // Downtown New Bern Waterfront Senior Portraits

“Mattie, can you balance on this pillar and stick your feet up in the air?” Sure, she says! Lol! From her studded leather boots to her leopard body suit, Mattie was ready to make this session her own.
We started at the docks where she grew up playing at the country club, made sure to include the tree-lined drive she rode up 100’s of times and then headed into the downtown area of her beloved New Bern. The picturesque historic gardens were a perfect backdrop for this lovely girl in her pretty pink dress. We got to play with the sunlight coming through a gardening hat – that is my favorite shot of the year!
Lastly, we just had to end at the gorgeous waterfront surrounded by century-old homes. It is another special place for Mattie. We may have been eaten alive by mosquitos, but from start to finish, we laughed. Plus, Mattie has a special trick for getting rid of the itch.
Congratulations, Mattie! It was so much fun hanging out with you and your family during your senior year! Catherine and Craig, you’ve got an amazing daughter and I know she is going to amazing things with this life! Also, congratulations on your feature on the Senior Style Guide!
