We met on a foggy morning and walked out into a field of tall grass. Jade was in full Sugar Plum Fairy garb, pointe shoes and all. We had been looking forward to this shoot for months! The light was perfect. The weather was unseasonably warm. The park had been completely flooded after Hurricane Matthew and thankfully mostly dry by the scheduled date of our shoot. But her pointe shoes were covered in silt by the end of the day. It was nothing short of magical when the sun hit the dew while it was rising in the sky. I’m a little poetic with this post, but how else can you talk about such dreamy images.
The last image above was at sunrise. So dramatic! Jade, it was an amazing experience working with you and your mom! So encouraging and fun! You are a beautiful! I can’t wait to see what you do at Meredith!
