I create authentic and beautiful natural light portraits for

in Eastern North Carolina.

FAMILIES, DANCERS AND GRADUATING SENIORS

I am constantly seeking truth, beauty and goodness in each moment of life. When I am working with my seniors, I see it the way your nose crinkles when you feel silly or the far off look you get when I ask you what your dreams are. With my families, I see it in the way a father cradles his newborn or a mama steals a glance at her ten-year-old daughter, whom she still pictures as a toddler.

I am a natural light photographer. I play with light and darkness. Shadows cannot exist without light and we could not see anything without shadows. Colors are transformed depending on the temperature of the light. And when the sun is close to the edge of the earth, well, that makes light and color magical.

more than pictures

each person is a unique and beautiful creation. this truth breathes life into my photography.

Hey there! My name is Lindsay Corrigan and I’m a natural light photographer in eastern North Carolina.

I’ve been a photographer since the second grade. Many friends, mentors, teachers, professors and my husband and parents had a hand in helping me on my path and in 2006, I started to build this business of mine. Since then, I began to specialize in high school senior portraits, and have since been featured and published nationally for my portrait work.

I’m not looking for fame or fortune, but this business is a great investment of time and effort for me. I sacrifice precious time away from my husband and our three children, and I pour out my passion into my work and art. From sending emails to crafting my images during shoots down to designing story book albums, I consider each moment I spend working for my clients very valuable. Let’s chat about this chance to work together!

My family & I have made our home in Kinston, and we LOVE our community. I love our hip downtown with our claim to fame restaurant, Chef and the Farmer, and our one-of-a-kind local coffee shop, Middle Grounds where the barista always knows your name.
While I’m a homebody at heart, I enjoy about 6 weeks a year traveling for visits to friends and family, photography conferences, and occasionally a vacation.

My favorite food is Italian. I waited tables at a multi-generational authentic Italian restaurant for 7 years, and I still have withdrawal. My favorite candy is soft caramels, and I pronounce it car-mal. Tea is a morning ritual, but I roast my own coffee for the rest of the day. I am a mid-westerner at heart, going back to my birth place in Missouri and the place I called home from elementary school through college - the great state of O-H-I-O. Go buckeyes!
